Before you arrive

- We're on the ground floor of Fatima Health Centre, 228 Garstang Road, Fulwood, Preston PR2 9QB. Free parking is available on site.
- What should I bring?
- Please bring a form of photo ID — passport, driving licence, or similar. If you take regular medication, a list or your repeat prescription slip is also helpful.
- How early should I arrive?
- Please aim to arrive around 5 minutes before your appointment. We run to schedule, so arriving on time helps everyone.
- Can I bring someone with me?
- Yes — you're welcome to bring a family member or friend for support.
Your appointment
- What happens at my appointment?
- Dr Secretary will take a full history, carry out any relevant examination, and discuss a clear management plan with you. Depending on your needs he may recommend investigations, prescribe medication, or arrange a referral.
- Will you prescribe medication?
- Yes — prescribing is included in your consultation fee. If medication is appropriate, you'll receive a private prescription to take to any pharmacy. The pharmacy will charge separately for the medication and their dispensing fee.
- What if I need blood tests or scans?
- Blood tests, scans, and any additional investigations can be arranged at or after your appointment. These are charged separately and payable on the day at the clinic by cash or card.
- When and how do I pay?
- Your consultation fee is paid in advance when you book. Any extras — such as blood tests or scans — are payable on the day at the clinic by cash or card.
Cancellations & admin
- How do I cancel or reschedule?
- Please give us at least 24 hours' notice. Call or WhatsApp us on 07424 172034 or email hello@myprivateclinic.co.uk.
- What if I'm running late?
- Please call us on 07424 172034 as soon as possible. We'll do our best to accommodate you, but late arrivals may result in a shortened appointment.
- Will you write to my NHS GP?
- Yes — we can provide a clinic letter or summary to your NHS GP on request. Just let Dr Secretary know at your appointment.
- Why do you need my NHS record?
- Sharing your NHS record lets Dr Secretary see your full medical history, current medications, and past test results — so your appointment can be as thorough as possible. It's optional but strongly recommended.
